23 Weeks Pregnant
23 WEEKS PREGNANT
How Far Along? 23 weeks pregnant is five months.
How Big is Baby at 23 Weeks? Baby girl is as big as a grapefruit! The average 23-week fetus measures 11.4 inches from head to foot and weighs 1.1 pounds. Yep, baby’s almost a foot long, and is finally able to be weighed in pounds! And baby's not just getting bigger, he or she's getting even cuter and starting to look more like a baby.
Total weight gain/loss?
Pregnancy Symptoms: Restless legs at night and overall tiredness
New for baby this week: Your baby is continuing to gain weight. Over the next several weeks, your baby will really begin to fill out. Lanugo, or the fine hair that covers your baby’s body, may darken at this point, allowing it to be seen on an ultrasound. Your baby is also looking more like a newborn.
Miss anything: Energy
Food cravings: None so far
Anything making you queasy or sick: No
Have you started to show yet: A little belly bump.
Gender: Girl
Wedding rings on or off? On.
Happy or Moody most of the time: A little grumpier this week
Looking forward to: Getting the girl's room ready. I found the perfect Pottery Barn bedding for both girls and I can't wait to get them set up.
